Centris hereby grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive licence to access and read the Content located in the publicly accessible portions of the Website for personal, non-commercial, and not-for-profit use only, and in accordance with the objectives of the Website. The Website is made available to you for your lawful, personal use only. You may print the Website pages or send listings from the Website by email for your personal and non-commercial use only, provided that you do not modify any of the pages and you do not remove or alter any visible or non-visible identification, marks, notices, or disclaimers. Centris may at any time, and from time to time, review, supplement, and amend these Terms as they relate to your future use of the Website, for any reason, by updating them on its Website without any prior notice and without incurring any liability to you or any other person. All Website users are bound by these Terms and the various policies posted on the Website and should therefore consult them periodically to review any amendments prior to using the Website. If any term, condition or any amendment thereto is not acceptable to you, you must discontinue your use of the Website immediately. For all other individuals or organizations not covered by this paragraph, Centris reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to prohibit and have removed any posting of link or hyperlink to the Website at any time without further notice, delay, or liability.
Framing, mirroring, scraping (including, without limiting the foregoing, “screen scraping,” “data scraping,” and any other activity, whether automated or not, intended, directly or indirectly, to collect, store, copy, reproduce, reorganize or manipulate the Content) or data mining from the Website or any part of its Content in any form or by any method whatsoever is strictly prohibited.
Communication via the Website
This Website may provide features that allow you to post messages and content, to interact with other users through a forum, chat windows, news groups, and to upload files, documents, or other materials. By publishing or uploading posts to this Website, you grant Centris a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable, unrestricted, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, store, adapt, translate, modify, make derivative works from, transmit, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display or analyze such posts, search criteria, and saved searches for any purpose whatsoever, and understand that this licence may be used by Centris in connection with any algorithm, software or artificial intelligence, and for any purpose related or pertaining, directly or indirectly, to Centris’s mission, objectives, and activities. In addition, you hereby (i) agree to irrevocably waive all moral rights in each and every post in favour of Centris; (ii) irrevocably consent to your name, address, and email appearing as the contributor of any post, where applicable, and to the disclosure and/or display of such information and any other information which appears in or is associated with a post; (iii) acknowledge and agree that Centris, its shareholders, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, representatives, and partners shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, or corruption that may occur to your posts; and (iv) acknowledge and agree that any posts you provide for display on the Website shall be considered non-confidential.
Centris may, at its discretion, review posts prior to their being published and may refuse to publish them on the Website. Centris reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to edit or remove any post. You acknowledge and agree that Centris may, at its sole discretion, monitor this Website periodically and disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation, or other government or Court request, to operate this Website properly, or to protect itself or other users of the Website. Any such disclosure shall be in accordance with Centris’s Privacy Policy.

Denial of Access to the Website and Termination of These Terms

Governing Laws and Dispute Resolution
This Website is controlled, operated, and administered by Centris from its offices located in Montréal, Québec, Canada. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable to Québec, and shall be treated in all respects as a Québec contract, without regard to any rules of private international law or conflicts of laws principles that would result in the application of other laws. The courts sitting in the judicial district of Montréal, Québec, shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and resolve any dispute relating, directly or indirectly, to the Website and/or to the application, enforcement, or interpretation of these Terms. You undertake not to export any of the Content accessible through the Website in violation of applicable export laws and regulations.
Errors or Omissions
Centris reserves its right, at its sole discretion, to correct any errors or omissions in any portion of the Website at any time and without notice, but asserts that it has no obligation to do so.
No Waiver

When using the Website and/or the Application, we may ask you to voluntarily provide certain personal information (including, but not limited to, your name, telephone number, and email address) for the purposes of facilitating communication with you, sending Electronic Communications or enabling you to access certain specific features or areas of the Website and/or Application, participate in contests or post your information on the Website and/or the Application so you can interact with other Website and/or Application users, such as brokers.
Use of Your Personal Information
Centris may use your personal information to contact or correspond with you, to enable brokers to correspond with you, to respond to your requests for information, to track communications with you, to provide you with a customized interactive experience, to help Centris develop new services and website features that meet your needs, to improve the Website and/or the Application, to organize contests, to provide you with the Electronic Communications you request, and to prepare follow-up reports on Website and/or Application user demographics (the “Purposes of Use”) and as otherwise permitted or required by the Legislation.
As part of the Purposes of Use, we may share your personal information with brokers so that they may contact you or you may choose to contact a broker directly. You therefore acknowledge that the brokers in question are third parties, with no affiliation to Centris and over which Centris has no control, with their own confidentiality and privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
We only collect personal information that is strictly necessary for the Purposes of Use and will only store your personal information for the duration of the Purposes of Use.
Consent
Centris will require your consent when collecting your personal information and inform you directly of the Purposes of Use. If any changes are made to the Purposes of Use, Centris will require you to renew your consent by giving your express confirmation that you have read and understood the Policy or any changes made to the Policy, and that you agree to the collection, use, and retention of your personal information for the Purposes of the Use, in accordance with the provisions of this Policy, as amended from time to time. Tracking
Information
Centris may use non-personal information to create aggregate tracking information reports regarding Website and/or Application user demographics and Website and/or Application traffic patterns. None of the tracking information in the reports can be connected to the identities or other personal information of individual users. In the event that Centris links tracking information with Website and/or Application users’ personal information, all linked information will be treated as personal information and will be used and disclosed only in accordance with this Policy and the Legislation.
Storing of Personal Information
Personal information is stored in the cloud. As such, the personal information that we manage may be transmitted to and processed and stored in another Canadian province or territory or another country, thereby becoming available to other government authorities and subject to the laws of such jurisdictions. We take all necessary measures to ensure that your personal information is handled securely and in accordance with the Legislation and this Policy. Centris undertakes to store your personal information only for the duration of the Purposes of Use or until you withdraw your consent.
Destruction of Personal Information
Centris undertakes to destroy or de-identify your personal information once the Purposes of Use have been fulfilled and there is no longer a need to use your personal information, such as when you unsubscribe from our services, no longer wish to receive our Electronic Communications, or withdraw your consent, subject to any retention period required by applicable legislation. Disclosure and
Sharing of Personal Information
Centris will not disclose any of your personal information to third parties without your consent, or unless such disclosure is provided for by the Legislation. Centris may, for example, make your personal information available, without your consent, to its employees, agents, and service providers with the authority to access it, and provided that such information is necessary for the performance of their business, professional, or technical support functions for Centris. In all cases of sharing and disclosure, Centris will ensure that (i) the use of your personal information complies with the Purposes of Use; (ii) your personal information will not be disclosed to third parties without your prior consent (unless such disclosure falls within the Purposes of Use or is provided for by the Legislation); and (iii) reasonable safeguards have been or will be implemented to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or use. In the event of disclosure or sharing, we undertake to enter into a confidentiality and security agreement with the recipient(s) of your personal information. From time to time, Centris may also be obliged to disclose personal information in compliance with an order or decision of a court or administrative authority, or when otherwise required by the Legislation.
Before disclosing your personal information outside Quebec, subject to the provisions of the Legislation, Centris will conduct an assessment of privacy-related factors, taking into consideration the safeguards applied to the information to ensure they are similar to the Legislation, and the legal framework applicable in the jurisdiction in which the information will be disclosed, including the legal framework’s degree of equivalency with the privacy principles applicable in Canada. This disclosure will be subject to a written agreement that takes into account the results of Centris’s assessment and, if applicable, the terms and conditions agreed to, in order to mitigate the risks identified in this assessment.
Accuracy of
Personal Information, Right to Access and Correct your Personal Information
We will make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that your personal information is accurate when used. However, we are counting on your help and encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if your personal information needs to be corrected or if you wish to access it. Any request for access or correction should be addressed to the Privacy Officer at info@centris.ca. We undertake to respond to your request for access or correction of your personal information promptly, within 30 days of receiving your written request. Before we can confirm the existence of your personal information, grant you access to the information, provide you with a copy of the information, or correct any information, we will ask you to confirm your identity and may ask you to provide us with additional information (in a secure manner) to help us respond to your request.

Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation
We are committed to transparency and to ensuring that our electronic communication practices comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation. From time to time, we may send Commercial Electronic Messages (CEMs) (i) to current or potential clients, to respond to requests for information or for prospecting purposes and (ii) to our current or potential service providers or business partners. If we use an external service provider to send CEMs, it will be clearly indicated that these messages are sent on behalf of Centris. Centris CEMs are only addressed to individuals who have given their express consent to receive them, or when provided for by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation, including (i) due to an existing business relationship between you and Centris; (ii) within the applicable time limit after the end of such a business relationship; (iii) within the applicable time limit after an inquiry or request for information from you; (iv) in the form of a single CEM following a recommendation from you, a service provider, a business partner, or a current employee of Centris who also has a business relationship, private relationship, family relationship, or personal relationship with you; or (v) if you have visibly published your email address or voluntarily disclosed it to Centris or one of our employees or agents without specifying that you do not wish to receive any unsolicited CEMs and that the message is related to the performance of your duties, your business, or the functions that you perform within such a business.
To stop receiving CEMs from Centris, you can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of each of our CEMs or by contacting us at info@centris.ca. Your email address will be removed from our distribution list within ten (10) business days of your request.
In return, you undertake to comply with the provisions of Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation in your use of the Website and/or the Application.
